This Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies (AABS) program of study will provide the student with a Major in Biblical Studies. Upon completion of the program the student will have a firm foundation in the Scriptures, and an understanding of the principle Biblical doctrines. One will also gain an understanding of the nature, mission and ministry of the local church, in addition to the global mission thereof. He/she will have a good comprehension of God’s plan for the world and for man, and have acquired the necessary skills to effectively witness and minister the Gospel within one’s own ministry, and gain an understanding of their calling.

Program Requirements:

In order to graduate with an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies (AABS), the student must have satisfactorily completed the following requirements:

  1. Completion of 60 credits total requirement
  2. Completion of the Undergraduate Core Curriculum
  3. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0
  4. All financial obligations with MCU settled
  5. Recommendation of the Faculty for graduation

Semester 1

BS100: Introduction To The Bible (3 credits)

CM101: The New Testament Church and Its Ministries (3 credits)

BS101: Old Testament Survey (3 credits)

PM102: Introduction To Pastoral Theology (3 credits)
